舞踏カンパニー
倚羅座 Kiraza
村上璃子 Riko Murakami
和歌山県出身。
立命館大学映像学部在学中より、舞踏家・今貂子のワークショップで学び、後に舞踏カンパニー倚羅座に参加。『花軍』(2012)にて、舞踏手としてデビュー。以降、主要作品『ウズメ―風穴をあける力―』(2014)、『夢衣』（2016）『闇の艶』（2019）等に出演。
『瑠璃坏』(2023)『真珠と斧』(2024)では今貂子と共同で振付を務めた。近年は、舞踏の方法論からフェミニズム、ジェンダー、クィア等の領域へと探索を試みている。
また国内外における今貂子の舞踏ワークショップの助手を務め、2018年にはイギリス・ヨークシャーのWhitestone art studioでの"Arashi no ie"アートプロジェクトにダンサー兼助手として参加した。
他に、伊藤高志氏の実験映像作品「最後の天使(2014)」の出演(第61回オーバーハウゼン国際短編映画祭にて上映)や、オランダ人写真家Marco van Duyvendijk氏の写真作品の参加など、舞踏をベースにした活動を継続中。
Riko MURAKAMI was born in Wakayama,Japan. Studied image arts in Ritsumeikan University.
She joined the butoh company KIRAZA,and made her debut as a butoh dancer in “Hana-Ikusa(花軍)” (2012). Since then, she has performed in major productions of the company, such as "UZUME(ウズメ;2014)","Robe of Dreams(夢衣;2016)","YAMI NO TSUYA(闇の艶:2019)"
She has co-choreographed “Goblet of lapis-lazuli(瑠璃坏:2023” and “Pearl and Axe(真珠と斧;2024)” with IMA Tenko. In recent years, she has been attempting to explore from butoh methodology into the fields of feminism, gender, and queer etc.
She also works as the assistant of IMA's butoh workshop and international art project such as "Arashi-no ie" at Whistestone art studio, Yorkshire,England.
Other Butoh-based activities include performing the leading role in Takashi Ito’s experimental video work “The Last Angel(最後の天使;2014)” (screened at the 61st Oberhausen International Short Film Festival), and participating in the photo works by Dutch photographer Marco van Duyvendijk.
